Draping
This garment titled Imperative, was created in Draping class. It is a two-piece top and skirt, made with crepe de chine satin. The skirt is honeycombed, a hand sewing fabric manipulation that creates unique drape and stretch. The top is free draped and hand sewn. It is closed by a zipper on the skirt and elastic on the top. It is inspired by musics fluidity, movement, and all that it means to me, imperative in my life.
